FAQ's  & Answers:

Where does the Event take place? Lansdale Day Art & Craft Festival is an outdoor event in Lansdale, PA that takes place on West Main Street from Broad Street to Cannon Avenue.  The entire length of this section of Main Street is completely closed to vehicular traffic from 6am - 6pm on the day of the Event and is monitored by the Lansdale Police Department - we thank them for their service to help maintain a safe, fun and family-friendly atmosphere during the Festival.  Lansdale Day always takes place on the First Saturday of June annually and is hosted and managed by The Rotary Club of North Penn team of volunteers.

When do you start booking vendors?   Artisans who were with us the previous year are given first consideration to book a space beginning January 1st through January 31st.  On February 1st, we open the registration to all potential vendors, whether new or returning.   We continue booking until we are full, which often happens before the deadline

Do you limit similar vendors?  Yes, we absolutely do!  We are very careful not to over-book similar vendors, whether an artisan or a business.  Certain categories are extremely limited and booked on a first-come-first-serve basis.  Additionally, we are also very careful not to place similar vendors near one another in order to limit competition.

How do I apply for participation?   If you are a FIRST TIME vendor, please click HERE for all you need to know!   If you are a RETURNING VENDOR, please click HERE for information

What is the deadline for submitting adjudication application?    Sooner rather than later because your booth space contract would need to be submitted with payment prior to the deadline noted on the booth space contract, which varies depending on the type of vendor

What are this year's booth space fees?   This depends on the type of vendor you are and what you plan to sell or display.  For an Art/Artisan (100% handcrafted items), the fee starts at $80 for a 10x10 space.  For non-artisan Business booth space, the fee starts at $150 for a 10x10 space.  For food vendors, the fee depends on the size of the space you need and menu selection. A simple 10x10 space starts at $190.   Sponsor spaces start at $400. but also vary in price depending on the level of sponsorship.  To view what is included with a sponsorship click here

What is the deadline for application?   April 15th, 2025 is the deadline for artisans & businesses; March 15th is the deadline for Food Vendors; and April 1st is the deadline for Sponsors.  We cannot guarantee a space at the event if your application is received after the deadline.  Additionally, if we fill up prior to this deadline, we will no longer accept applications.  It's best to submit your application as early as you can!

I've been approved as a vendor, when can I expect to receive my booth space assignment and other arrival instructions?  All arrival instructions, driving directions and your assigned booth space assignment, a map and departure instructions will be emailed to you within 1-2 weeks prior to the event.  It is the vendor's primary contact (named on the contract) who is responsible for sharing all information with any staff in charge of their booth space for the day.

What forms of payment do you accept to pay for a booth space?   We prefer you pay with a Visa or MasterCard at our preferred and secure payment page.  We do accept checks or money orders which need to be mailed with your completed contract.  You must be fully approved to participate before making a booth space payment.  Additionally, please note that we do not accept Discover, American Express or anything other than MasterCard or Visa.

Is there a rain date for Lansdale Day?   No, we make every effort to hold the event as planned due to the extensive planning that goes into this event.  Scheduling and attempting to hold to a rain date is nearly impossible due to hundreds of vendors' schedules, police and security schedules and volunteer schedules.  Please visit our Rain Date Information page for additional information.

How many vendors participate in Lansdale Day?   The outside event stretches from Green Street to Cannon Avenue on West Main Street in Lansdale, PA.  We have spaces for up to 260 vendors which include art, craft, community marketplace business vendors, sponsors, and numerous food and food truck vendors; as well as entertainment and attractions that are family-friendly

Is there a charge for the public to attend Lansdale Day?   No, the event has no entrance fee for the general public. Annually, it is attended by 4000-7000 people.  Some larger attractions do have a small fee.  CASH only for attractions provided by the host:  the Rotary Club of North Penn; a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization.

Is there parking available for Vendors?  YES, we have a vendor-only designated parking lot that is accessed once you have checked in (by vehicle) and unloaded at your pre assigned space. A vendor parking permit is distributed at check-in and is good for one vehicle per vendor.  NO additional vehicles are permitted in the check-in line and will have to find parking elsewhere. No motor vehicles are permitted to remain on Main Street after 9am (the only exception is for self-contained food trucks)  There is a public parking lot on Vine street (1 block away) as well as parking on side streets that parallel the event.  Additionally, the Lansdale SEPTA parking garage is available; providing parking for hundreds of vehicles within a short walk to the event.  We do require all vendors to completely unload at their booth space and immediately park their vehicle before setting up their space - this is strictly enforced to avoid a bottleneck on Main Street during the check-in process. Detailed arrival instructions are sent to every booked vendor approximately two weeks prior to the Event.

Is there parking available for the general public?   There are numerous public lots available nearby. Most are free on the weekends.  There is plenty of free parking along side streets that border Main Street.  Be sure to adhere to the road closures.   Additionally, the Lansdale SEPTA parking garage is available; providing parking for hundreds of vehicles within a very short walk to the event.

What kind of children activities and attractions are available during Lansdale Day?  We have numerous great activities for kids of all ages!  These include strolling clowns, balloon art, sand art, face painting and live DJ.  We always plan to have larger attractions which may very from year to year. Theses larger attractions do carry a small fee. (Cash Only).

Why do you require a canopy covering for the booth space I plan to rent?   For several reasons, but the most important is to help protect YOU and your display from wind, extreme sunshine and potential drizzle.  Secondly, we require this so a uniform look is provided for this event.  Lansdale Day is not a flea market or a garage sale - it is an Art & Craft Festival; and the addition of canopy coverings (as well as tables draped or skirted) provide a touch of class and attract buyers.  All vendors (except self-contained food trucks) must have a canopy covering as outlined in the Terms & Conditions form signed by every vendor.
